Chattanooga Coffee Legend Moves Back to City Center

If you’ve had a cup of exceptional coffee in the last 15 years in Chattanooga’s budding coffee scene you’ve really got one guy to thank – Ian Goodman. This guy more or less started the specialty coffee market in Chattanooga while still a student at Covenant College. He was the mastermind behind Greyfriar’s Coffee Shop, the longtime staple on Broad Street. Years after selling his stake in that shop this coffee legend alongside his original Greyfriar’s partner Aric Annear (back from a successful run in Seattle) have launched Goodman Coffee in St. Elmo. Now the next step: the duo has opened an official coffee shop in Warehouse Row in the heart of the City Center.
